Armor Games
Over the last few years I have spent more hours than I can account for playing hundreds of new and exciting games such as Kingdom Rush, Gemcraft Labyrinth, Takeover and others. I introduced my children to the website and my nephews as well. They love Zombo Buster. We are all very much addicted to the quality and variety of games that are to be found on this site. If you are looking for a new game to play for more than a few days it would be of benefit to you to check out this site and explore the top played lists. You will find a game that will keep you entertained for hours and hours; or in the case of Kingdom Rush and its sequel Frontiers, days and days and days!

Kingdom Rush
This is one of the best Web-based and ported to mobile platform games ever! It was developed by 3 guys in South America. It is challenging with its 5 different skill level awards. They also continue to release levels for it years after it original release which makes this game worth the price. Here are my thought about the current list of updates that Ironhide Game Studio has gifted us with as listed on Google Play:
- 2 new stages! Face the demon hordes in the Rift of Cinders!
- (I found this to be very difficult to defeat. )
- 5 new enemies from the netherworld!
- (Serberus being the hardest of these to kill. Ugh! I spent hours discovering the right combination.)
- Boss fight: Moloch the Archdevil is waiting in his throne behind the portal!
- (He was difficult but once you discover how to destroy Serberus you are on your way to killing Moloch.)
- 2 new heroes: Play as Oni the demonic samurai or Hacksaw the gnome tinker with its marvelous contraption!
- (These are in game purchases that I haven't felt warranted testing. I like the idea of in game purchases and have used them in other games but I didn't find a compelling reason to buy any of these advanced heroes.)
- New achievements and Easter eggs!
- (I absolutely love the all of their Easter eggs! They are humorous and often irreverent nods to another franchise. One of the best is the Scrat not getting his nut. Though that is not part of this particular update.)
"Probably the best true tower defense game. It's funny, it's polished, and it's hard as balls. "
- IGN (Editor's choice 9/10 "Amazing")
I strongly encourage you to buy this game. It will provide hours of replayable entertainment on Android/Apple/PC devices.

Hammer Heads is ADDITIVE FUN FOR THE FAMILY!!!
This POPCAP.COM game is very addictive fun for the whole family; my wife, my son and myself have been compelled to play for hours on end. It is a simple game that requires you to bash the garden gnomes on the head before they go back underground. Simple yet oh so challenging and enjoyable after a hard day at the office.

Its elementary my dear Watson!
Well after a long hiatus from this blog, due in large part to my temporary second job I am using to speed up the process of dumping debt from my life, I am back with another game to recommend. It is an oldie but I recently rediscovered it in its updated glory.
It is called Sherlock. It is a logic puzzle game, published by Everett Kaser Software. It is addictive and it is in a real way instructive to the mind.
It can be played on all levels in its demo mode. There are only 5 puzzles per level but that means there are 40 puzzles to play which will thoroughly addict you and make you more than happy to buy the full version for the standard video game price of just under $20, (that's $19.95 if you hadn't already guessed.)

Civilization 3
Talk about ADDICTIVE games... I popped in an oldie Sid Meyer's Civilization 3 nearly a week ago. I will be darned if I didn't just spend nearly the entire week concuring the world again until 3 or 4 am each night...

Cradle of Rome - Puzzle game
Well there goes another 3 hours of the enjoyably playing in the evening hours after the house has gone still and quiet save for me.... ;) I just played through all of the free levels available on Cradle of Rome it is put out by GameTop (I recommend looking at the bottom of their webpage as it has a list of old time games that have been released as freeware). It is a fun and definitely addictive puzzle game; I would have to say that if I were still spending money with reckless abandon I would have pulled out my credit card and purchased this game just to continue playing.
Alas on the part of GameTop, Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover has happened and I have done the responsible thing and cut my credit card up for good in favor of financial sanity. Though I must say I am going to look this game up in a few months after I have paid off the old credit card off using Dave's wise steps and buy it with some "blow money" because it really is a lot of fun.
